Why get involved ?

Quite simply: change only happens if people make things change.

You could leave it up to others, but the more people who agitate for change the faster that it will happen. Hopefully you will make things better for you and your children, you can also improve matters for others.

This need not take a lot of time, this page has a few pointers to simple things that you can do.

What can you do ?

Some suggestions:

• Attend meetings, your experience is unique, draw on it to help others
• Sign petitions to Parliament, they help to for MP's opinions
• Write to your MP. It is easy to find out who s/he is
• Put up posters on notice boards around your area
